Same day delivery service traditionally means the courier collects from you and delivers immediately, usually charged at a mileage rate which can work out quite expensive if you only need the goods delivered at any time during the working day.
For this reason we have introduced our “ECONOMY” service
Economy Deliveries
We can provide deliveries across the UK at significantly reduced rates by consolidating loads heading in the same direction onto one vehicle. You then effectively share that vehicle with other customers’ goods, reducing the cost to yourself. This is ideal if your goods need the careful handling and security that a same day courier provides, but you don’t wish to pay for a dedicated vehicle to get it there right now.
Economy Collections
As one of the largest courier companies in the UK, we have vehicles all over the country every day, returning home empty to various destinations throughout the UK. We are therefore able to offer a discounted collection service on a “coming home anyway” basis. Discounted collection prices start from as little as £30 per single pallet or less for multi pallet collections, depending on weight, volume and mileage. We find this service to be of particular interest to freight forwarders, exporters and shipping companies who have tight margins on collection rates throughout the country.
These services are particularly useful if your goods require careful handling but do not necessarily need to be delivered urgently, as this method involves considerably less handling than conventional delivery services.
