ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Actions speak louder than words

Climate change is the biggest threat facing our world. It is down to all of us to do our part to reverse the harmful effects of carbon emissions, in order to provide a safe future for generations to come.
1) Carbon Offsetting
We have partnered with Earthly to offset the carbon emissions emitted by our fleet.
Since mid 2021 we have begun to support projects throughout the world that actively remove CO2 from the atmosphere, as well as supporting people in the affected areas.
Every month we calculate the CO2 emitted by our fleet and we offset this + 10%. This has allowed us to gain Climate Positive Product certification.
2) ISO 14001 certification
We have UKAS accredited ISO 14001 certification with British Assessment Bureau.
ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system. It helps organizations improve their environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste.
We achieved this accreditation in 2020, alongside our long held ISO 9001 accreditation, in order to reduce our impact on the environment.
3) FORS accreditation
We were early adopters of the FORS scheme and are accredited to a silver level.
This is a scheme run for haulage firms which promotes safer working environments for drivers and the public. Silver accreditation means there is a focus on the environmental impact of our fleet and measures to reduce our carbon footprint via fuel efficiencies and utilising new technologies.
It also involves a commitment to work towards zero emission vehicles once suitable options become available. You can find more information on the FORS website by clicking here.
4) Renewing our fleet
We are constantly upgrading our fleet with the latest low emissions technology.
We currently only purchase vehicles that meet the strictest Euro VI emissions standards.
Once zero emissions options become available, we will be among the first to upgrade our fleet to these vehicles in order to reduce our emissions further.
We also actively promote upgrading to Euro VI vehicles throughout our supply chain.
